In-person versus virtual - which is right for you?
In-person and virtual private yoga sessions each offer unique benefits, depending on your needs, lifestyle, and comfort level. Both options provide a deeply personalized approach to yoga—choose what works best for you!
In-person private yoga classes Benefits Hands-on guidance – Receive real-time adjustments, support, and modifications tailored to your body. Immersive experience – Step away from distractions and fully engage in a dedicated, calming environment. More prop support – Access to yoga blocks, bolsters, straps, and other tools to enhance your practice. Deep connection – Experience the energy of being physically present with your teacher for a more intuitive, responsive session. Considerations Requires space in your home or access to a location outside the home. Requires the purchase and storage of personal yoga props, such as blocks, straps, bolsters. Higher cost due to the dedicated instruction in your home.
Virtual private yoga classes (live via Zoom) Benefits Practice from anywhere – Enjoy a private yoga session from anywhere, whether at home or traveling. Personalized guidance – Still receive individualized attention, cues, and modifications in real time. Comfort & privacy – Ideal if you feel more at ease practicing in your own space without someone else there. Considerations No hands-on adjustments, so alignment cues are verbal only. Requires a stable internet connection and a suitable device for streaming with a camera. Requires personal setting up of device and space. Must provide your own props (but we can adapt with household items!).
